In a shocking revelation, the Nigerian Agency for the Control of Aids says that there about 3,500 male commercial sex workers in Abuja. The Agency also disclosed from it’s findings that 60% of these men were married.
The director general of the agency, Professor John Idoko made the disclosure during the agency’s first lecture in Abuja. He also disclosed that a high proportion of women in Cross River and Benue, in the last six months had been with men who were not their husbands.
He stressed that this statistics raises a high concern of HIV transmission to spouse.
